I make a cup of tea or coffee and just sit, read my bible, pray and think. I have found that when I go too long without this time, I feel frazzled and pulled in a million different directions. I usually have my granddaughter on the weekends and so to have this time with God is very precious to me. Sometimes I sing songs, (although not as well as you :) )But I make my own joyful noise. Thank you for helping me to remember that Jesus had to find the time to be alone after serving, giving, healing and being with the disciples. I know that if the perfect Son had to do this, I must do this to reconnect with the source of my joy, strength, and peace.
Thanks!
SandraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
